Regluing of chairs is our specialty.
We disassemble complete, clean off old glue from dowel and dowel holes, dry fit, apply epoxy, clamp and allow to dry. Using this method has resulted in the guarantee:
For over 12 years now we have used this guarantee and we have never had to redo our work due to a glue joint letting go.
As shown below, chairs are completely knocked apart in order to remove all old glue residue. This ensures that the newly applied glue will be able to soak into both pieces of wood, creating a full and complete bond between the dowel and hole.
